About

Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a variety of clinical settings, which has allowed me to connect with people from many different backgrounds and support a wide range of concerns.

I earned my degree from Argosy University, and I’ve always believed that effective therapy begins with trust, compassion, and a strong therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable being yourself and exploring the challenges that brought you to therapy.

I believe that everyone has strengths they can build upon, even during difficult seasons of life. I’m passionate about helping clients develop practical coping skills, gain greater self-awareness, and move toward a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and fulfilling.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and I want you to know that you don’t need to have everything figured out before we begin. My role is to meet you where you are, listen to your story, and provide a space where you feel respected, supported, and understood.

I take a warm, collaborative, and solution-focused approach to therapy. Together, we’ll explore the challenges you’re facing, identify your strengths, and develop tools that are practical and meaningful for your everyday life. My hope is that each session leaves you feeling heard, encouraged, and more confident in your ability to handle life’s challenges.

Therapy is a process, and I believe meaningful change happens through patience, consistency, and working together toward the goals that matter most to you.

My approach begins with taking the time to truly understand you—your experiences, your challenges, your strengths, and what you hope to accomplish through therapy. I believe every person’s journey is different, so I work collaboratively with clients to create a plan that feels personal, realistic, and aligned with their goals.

Throughout my years of practice in different clinical settings, I’ve developed an approach that is compassionate, consistent, and adaptable to each individual’s needs. I value open communication and believe that therapy works best when you feel comfortable, supported, and actively involved in the process.

Together, we’ll focus on building awareness, developing healthy coping strategies, creating more balance, and finding ways to support your overall well-being. My goal is to help you feel more equipped to navigate challenges while building confidence in your ability to grow and move forward.

Frequently asked

I believe therapy works best when it's built on trust, collaboration, and mutual respect. My approach is warm, compassionate, and solution-focused, with an emphasis on understanding your unique experiences, strengths, and goals. Together, we'll develop practical coping strategies and create a personalized plan that helps you move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, and what you hope to accomplish. There's no pressure to have everything figured out before we begin. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable sharing your story at your own pace.
Absolutely. Many people feel nervous before their first therapy appointment, and that's completely normal. You don't need to know exactly what to say or have all the answers. My role is to meet you where you are, help you explore what's been weighing on you, and work alongside you to build the skills and confidence needed to move forward.
Meaningful change doesn't happen overnight, and I believe therapy is a process built on patience, consistency, and small steps forward. Together, we'll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build on your existing strengths, develop practical coping skills, and create realistic goals that support long-term growth. My hope is that each session leaves you feeling more confident and better equipped to handle life's challenges.
Finding the right therapist is one of the most important parts of the counseling process. I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable being yourself and actively involved in your care. If you're looking for a therapist who values collaboration, open communication, and practical solutions while providing compassionate support, we may be a good fit. During our first few sessions, we'll get to know each other and determine the best path forward based on your goals.
