About

I am currently an LPC Supervisee. I graduated from George Mason University, studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Growing up, I always had a heart for helping people. I just did not know what field of study I wanted to work in. After the passing of a close friend and learning about therapy, I realized this is the field that interests me the most. I had the opportunity of working with many different populations, including college students, developmentally delayed clients, incarcerated clients, SMI, and trauma clients. Although I have not been in the field very long through my own experience, I have made an impact on many of my clients. My goal as a therapist is to use my clinical skills to allow my clients to navigate through life, whether it is struggling with identity, trauma, self-infliction, or body image. I want to be a support for all of my clients.

Tatyana works out of our Vienna office.

Frequently asked

I work with adolescents and adults who are navigating a variety of challenges, including trauma, identity concerns, self-harm, body image issues, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. My experience includes working with college students, individuals with developmental disabilities, incarcerated individuals, people living with serious mental illness, and those recovering from trauma. I strive to create a welcoming environment where every client feels seen, heard, and supported.
I believe therapy should be a collaborative journey where you feel safe exploring your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. My goal is to use evidence-based counseling techniques while tailoring therapy to your unique needs. Together, we'll work to build insight, strengthen coping skills, and help you navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and resilience.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, discuss your goals, and explore the challenges you're currently facing. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive space where you can share at your own pace and feel empowered throughout the therapeutic process.
Yes. Many people struggle with questions about identity, self-worth, and body image, and these challenges can affect many areas of life. Therapy provides a safe space to explore these concerns, understand where they come from, and develop healthier ways of thinking about yourself. Together, we'll work toward building greater self-acceptance, confidence, and emotional well-being.
My passion for counseling grew from a lifelong desire to help others and was deeply shaped by the loss of a close friend. That experience showed me the importance of mental health support and inspired me to pursue a career where I could help others navigate difficult seasons of life. Today, I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients, offering encouragement, compassion, and support as they work toward healing and personal growth.
