About

My goal is to empower clients to change their lives in a positive manner by focusing on recovery and welfare and promoting healthy personal growth. This is typically accomplished by improving the way you cope and interact with your environment. I have worked with a variety of issues, including marital and family dynamics, blended families, parenting, and co-parenting, with a concentration on cultural influences. I also helped individuals with mood disorders, adjustment challenges, and chemical dependency problems.

My 20 years of experience in the Mental health field and command of two languages have enabled me to effectively understand and relate to clients from all walks of life. This includes 15 years of providing outpatient therapy settings working with infants, children, adolescents, and adults, in individual and group settings, as well as couples and family counseling.

Shideh conducts her sessions via telehealth.

Yes. As a bilingual therapist with extensive experience working with individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds, I understand how culture, family values, and life experiences can shape mental health and relationships. During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know one another and discussing what brings you to therapy. We'll explore your current concerns, your personal history, and the goals you'd like to achieve. My priority is creating a supportive, collaborative environment where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences and confident that we'll work together toward meaningful progress.
