About

I have provided mental health services in a variety of settings, including schools, outpatient, and homes. I work with children (4+), adolescents, and adults. I have extensive experience in treating anxiety, trauma, crisis, anger management, self-regulation, depression, grief, and loss.

Regardless of your age or reason for seeking therapy, building a trusting and safe environment is the most important starting point. I believe in meeting you where you are and acknowledging you are the expert on your life. This is your journey, and I am here to offer support and guidance.

Everyone responds to treatment differently and has different needs. This is why I use an eclectic approach. This includes trauma perspective, narrative, strengths perspective, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, expressive, play interventions, and sand tray. I am able to bring this variety of approaches to my work as a result of years of experience, training, and certification.

Frequently asked

I work with children ages 3 and older, adolescents, and adults who are navigating a variety of life challenges. I have extensive experience helping individuals manage anxiety, trauma, depression, grief and loss, anger management, emotional regulation, and crisis situations. Whether you're seeking support for yourself or your child, my goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where healing can begin.
I believe every person is unique, which is why I take an eclectic approach to therapy. I draw from evidence-based techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed therapy, narrative therapy, mindfulness, strengths-based therapy, expressive interventions, play therapy, and sand tray therapy. Together, we'll find the approaches that best fit your needs, strengths, and goals.
Children often express themselves differently than adults, so I incorporate developmentally appropriate approaches such as play interventions, expressive activities, and sand tray therapy to help them communicate their thoughts and emotions. I also work closely with parents and caregivers when appropriate, helping families develop strategies to support their child's emotional growth both in and outside of therapy.
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a trusting relationship. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, discuss your concerns, and identify the goals you'd like to work toward. I believe you're the expert on your own life, so we'll work together to develop a treatment plan that feels personalized and meaningful to you.
Building trust is the foundation of effective therapy. My goal is to meet you where you are without judgment and create a space where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences at your own pace. Whether you're working through a recent challenge or healing from past experiences, I'll provide guidance, encouragement, and evidence-based tools to help you move toward the life you want to live.
