About

I understand being vulnerable takes courage, however it is an important step in creating change and living your best life. I have years of experience in child welfare working with children and families impacted by trauma, homelessness, depression, anxiety, parenting issues, low self-esteem, multicultural challenges and domestic violence. Our personal experiences in life have such an impact on how we think, feel, and behave. I am here to offer a safe, nonjudgemental space for you to unlock what might be holding you back from living the life you envision. I enjoy assisting people by listening to their journey, identifying barriers, and using a strength-based approach to gaining more insight and developing a plan to get them closer to the lives they want.

I work with children, adolescents, and adults who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, parenting concerns, family conflict, domestic violence, homelessness, and difficult life transitions. My background in child welfare has given me extensive experience supporting individuals and families through complex situations. I strive to help clients recognize their strengths while developing practical tools to overcome obstacles and move toward the life they want.
My approach is strengths-based, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I believe our life experiences shape the way we think, feel, and respond to the world around us. Together, we'll explore the experiences that may be contributing to your current challenges, identify barriers to your goals, and develop a personalized plan that builds on your strengths. My goal is to empower you with the insight and skills needed to create meaningful, lasting change.
Your first therapy session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what brings you to counseling. We'll discuss your current concerns, personal history, strengths, and the goals you'd like to accomplish. I strive to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can share your experiences at your own pace while we begin creating a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs.
