About

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than a decade of experience, I have provided trauma-informed care, crisis counseling, and motivational interviewing to individuals of all ages experiencing severe mental illness, developmental disabilities, depression, anxiety, and self-harming behaviors.

My counseling approach is holistic and strengths-based, helping clients build on their existing resilience while working toward achievable goals. I integrate techniques from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and parts-oriented interventions to support insight, healing, and lasting change.

My goal is to help individuals explore, understand, and overcome personal and social challenges while fostering hope, self-awareness, and emotional wellness.

Mfrie is based out of our Reston office.
