Frequently asked

I work with adolescents ages 14 and older and adults who are experiencing a variety of emotional and life challenges. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, stress, grief, life transitions, or feeling overwhelmed, my goal is to provide a supportive environment where we can better understand your experiences and develop practical strategies to help you move forward with confidence and hope.
My approach begins with recognizing the inherent dignity and worth of every person. I believe meaningful change happens within a trusting, collaborative therapeutic relationship where you feel heard, respected, and understood. Together, we'll explore your unique life story, identify your strengths, and develop personalized strategies that promote healing, resilience, and long-term emotional well-being. My goal is to help you find relief from current challenges while building the skills needed for lasting growth.
Your first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and discuss what has brought you to therapy. We'll explore your concerns, personal history, strengths, and goals while answering any questions you may have about the counseling process. My priority is to create a warm, empathic, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace as we begin developing a treatment plan that reflects your individual needs.
Life transitions—whether expected or unexpected—can bring uncertainty, stress, and emotional challenges. Therapy provides a supportive space to process these experiences, gain perspective, and develop healthy coping strategies. Together, we'll identify what's contributing to your current difficulties, build on your existing strengths, and work toward solutions that help you adapt to change while continuing to grow personally and emotionally.
I believe therapy should provide both immediate support and lasting change. During our sessions, my goal is to help reduce emotional distress while also addressing the underlying patterns that may be contributing to ongoing challenges. By focusing on hope, personal strengths, and collaboration, I work with clients to create meaningful, sustainable progress that supports healing, recovery, and greater fulfillment in all areas of life.
