About

I earned my Master of Social Work from Radford University and have spent the past five years providing compassionate, evidence-based therapy to individuals from a variety of backgrounds. I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults, and I believe that everyone deserves a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where they can feel comfortable being themselves. Whether you're struggling with ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, or other challenges, I'm here to help.

My approach is client-centered, which means we'll work together to create a treatment plan that fits your unique needs and goals. I draw from several evidence-based therapies, including CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy, and somatic and art therapy techniques, all through a strengths-based lens that focuses on your resilience and potential.

I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change. My goal is to help you feel heard, respected, and supported from our very first session. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to do it alone. If you're ready to begin, I'd be honored to support you on your journey.

Frequently asked

I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults who are experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by everyday stress or working through long-standing emotional concerns, I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your experiences and move toward meaningful healing and growth.
My approach is client-centered and strengths-based, meaning we work together to create a treatment plan that reflects your unique goals, values, and experiences. I incorporate evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, as well as somatic and art therapy techniques when appropriate. My goal is to help you build on your strengths while developing practical skills that support lasting change.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and discuss what has brought you to therapy. We'll explore your current concerns, personal history, strengths, and goals while answering any questions you have about the counseling process. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable sharing at your own pace.
I believe everyone has strengths that can serve as the foundation for growth and healing. Together, we'll identify the patterns that may be keeping you stuck while developing healthier ways to cope with life's challenges. By building self-awareness, strengthening coping skills, and recognizing your resilience, therapy can help you feel more confident, empowered, and equipped to navigate future challenges.
Finding the right therapist is an important part of the healing process. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is built on trust, collaboration, and mutual respect.
