I work with youth and adults and also provide parent coaching. My techniques used include Structural Family Therapy, Systemic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Family Systems Approach. In addition to direct client work, I enjoy providing LCSW clinical supervision to clinical supervision candidates as they complete their requirements to acquire licensure.

I graduated with my bachelor's degree from James Madison University and my master's degree from Baylor University. My passion is helping clients navigate difficult situations that are holding them back from thriving.

Frequently asked

I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a wide range of mental health challenges. My experience includes supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, mood disorders, attachment concerns, and emotional or behavioral difficulties. I also provide parent coaching to help caregivers better understand their child's needs and strengthen family relationships.
I believe therapy should be tailored to each person's unique circumstances and goals. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Structural Family Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Systemic Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Together, we'll identify the patterns that may be contributing to current challenges and develop practical strategies that support lasting growth and healthier relationships.
Yes. In addition to individual therapy, I provide parent coaching and work with families to improve communication, strengthen relationships, and navigate challenging behaviors. Because family dynamics often play an important role in a person's emotional well-being, I enjoy helping parents develop effective tools and greater confidence while supporting their child's growth and development.
Working in crisis and inpatient mental health settings has given me extensive experience helping individuals and families navigate some of life's most difficult moments. It has strengthened my ability to remain calm during challenging situations, understand complex mental health concerns, and develop practical treatment plans that support long-term recovery. While every client's journey is different, I strive to help each person build resilience and move toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and discuss what has brought you to therapy. We'll talk about your current concerns, your personal and family history, your strengths, and the goals you'd like to achieve. Together, we'll begin creating a treatment plan that reflects your needs and helps you make meaningful progress at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
