About

I speak Ga fluently. I have been in the counseling field, working with clients and providing therapy & other services, since 2018. I am able to assist with many different mental health conditions including: ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Anger Management, Trauma, ODD, OCD, Substance Abuse, and Phobias, and more. In addition to individual counseling, I also offer couples and family counseling as well.

A little about me:

I'm a graduate of Virginia State University & Bowie State University. I am a gym rat; I often find myself working out 5 to 6 times a week, and I love basketball. I also love dogs and being around them, whether it's my own or a furry friend that belongs to a family member. I would describe my personality as introverted with extroverted tendencies.

I am passionate about assisting my clients in meeting their therapeutic goals. I use a variety of techniques, including CBT, art therapy, compassion, strengths-based approach, and more. I have served populations that range from children to adults and am currently seeing patients aged seven and up. I bring an open-minded, new age perspective to challenges and how to overcome them. I strive to create a comfortable, safe environment for my clients as we work together.

I look forward to working with you!

Frequently asked

I work with children ages 7 and older, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I help clients navigate a variety of concerns, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, anger management, trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), substance use, phobias, and other life challenges. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you feel comfortable working toward meaningful change.
I believe therapy should be personalized because every person has different experiences, strengths, and goals. I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), art therapy, strengths-based techniques, compassion-focused care, and other evidence-based approaches to help clients better understand themselves, develop healthy coping skills, and make lasting changes. I work collaboratively with my clients to create a treatment plan that fits their unique needs.
Yes! In addition to individual counseling, I also work with couples and families. Whether you're experiencing communication challenges, relationship conflicts, parenting concerns, or family stress, I strive to create a safe, respectful space where everyone feels heard. Together, we'll work on strengthening relationships, improving communication, and finding healthy solutions that support your family's goals.
Yes. I am fluent in Ga and provide therapy in both English and Ga. I understand that being able to communicate in your preferred language can help you feel more comfortable and fully express your thoughts and emotions. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where you feel understood, respected, and supported throughout the therapy process.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, discuss your concerns, and identify the goals you'd like to work toward. My approach is open-minded, supportive, and nonjudgmental, and we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you as we work together toward positive, lasting change.
