About

Whether you're struggling with trauma, relationship challenges, family conflict, grief, anxiety, or a major life transition, therapy can provide a space for healing, growth, and lasting change.

I specialize in helping adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigate the impact of trauma, difficult relationships, and life-changing experiences. Many of the clients I work with are seeking to rebuild self-esteem, heal from past hurts, strengthen communication, establish healthy boundaries, and create more fulfilling relationships with themselves and others.

My clinical experience includes working with survivors of trauma, sexual abuse, domestic violence, family conflict, divorce, grief and loss, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, OCD, anger management concerns, and challenges related to identity, spirituality, and life transitions. I also have experience supporting military families, LGBTQ+ individuals, and families involved in reunification and parent-child relationship work.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client's unique needs. I integrate evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Gestalt techniques, play therapy interventions, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and humanistic approaches. For clients who desire it, I also offer faith-informed counseling that incorporates Christian values into the therapeutic process.

I believe healing happens when people feel seen, understood, and empowered. My goal is to help you gain insight, develop practical coping skills, process difficult experiences, and move toward a life that feels more authentic, balanced, and meaningful.

You do not have to face life's challenges alone. Together, we can work toward healing, resilience, and the future you want to create.

Yes. Trauma and unhealthy relationships can have lasting effects on self-esteem, trust, emotional regulation, and daily life. Yes. For clients who would like to incorporate their Christian faith into the counseling process, I offer faith-informed therapy that integrates Christian values alongside evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Whether you choose faith-based counseling or a traditional clinical approach, treatment will always be guided by your goals, beliefs, and preferences in a respectful, supportive environment.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and discuss what has brought you to therapy. We'll talk about your current concerns, personal history, relationships, strengths, and treatment goals while answering any questions you may have about the counseling process. My priority is to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered as we begin your journey toward healing, resilience, and lasting personal growth.
