About

I have over 15 years of experience providing individual and group therapy to children, adolescents, and adults in correctional, inpatient, and private practice settings. Additionally, I am a certified clinical anxiety treatment professional and a certified grief counseling specialist. My current passion lies in supporting parents through the challenges and transitions of parenthood, with a particular focus on working with families of children who present with a PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance/Pervasive Drive for Autonomy) profile of autism spectrum disorder and/or ADHD. I approach this work with deep empathy, aiming to help parents build skills, foster intentionality, and feel truly seen in their experience.

Therapeutically, I utilize an integrative approach with techniques from various treatment modalities, including cognitive behavioral, client-centered, mindfulness, internal family systems, and positive psychology. I strongly believe the client-therapist match and the therapeutic alliance are the most significant contributors to the outcome of therapy. I collaborate closely with each client to develop a personalized path toward growth, healing, and resilience.

Everyone deserves to feel felt and be seen. I am dedicated to creating a warm, safe, and culturally sensitive space where clients feel deeply validated and supported. I see it as a profound privilege to accompany individuals on their journey toward self-discovery, empowerment, and inner alignment.

You have taken the first and most courageous step. I commend you for that and I look forward to the opportunity to join you.

Frequently asked

I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, grief, trauma, life transitions, stress, and emotional challenges. I also have a special interest in supporting parents, particularly those raising children with a Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA)/Pervasive Drive for Autonomy (PDA) profile of autism spectrum disorder and/or ADHD. My goal is to help individuals and families develop practical skills, strengthen resilience, and feel supported throughout their journey.
My approach is collaborative, integrative, and individualized. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, so I tailor treatment to each person's unique needs and goals. I incorporate evidence-based techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, client-centered therapy, and positive psychology. Above all, I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful healing and lasting change.
Yes. One of my clinical passions is supporting parents who are raising children with PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance/Pervasive Drive for Autonomy) profiles, autism spectrum disorder, and ADHD. Parenting neurodivergent children can bring unique challenges, and I strive to provide a compassionate, validating space where parents can learn practical strategies, better understand their child's needs, strengthen family relationships, and feel more confident in their parenting journey.
Yes. I am both a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional and a Certified Grief Counseling Specialist.
