Frequently asked

I work with adults experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, panic disorder, substance use disorders, personality disorders, and other emotional or behavioral challenges. With more than 18 years of clinical experience, I've had the privilege of helping individuals from many different backgrounds navigate life's difficulties and build healthier, more fulfilling lives through personalized treatment.
I take an eclectic approach to therapy, recognizing that no single treatment method is the right fit for everyone. Depending on your unique needs and goals, I may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and EMDR for trauma. Together, we'll develop a treatment plan that helps you strengthen coping skills, overcome obstacles, and make meaningful progress toward your goals.
Yes. Trauma treatment is one of my areas of clinical experience. I have worked with individuals experiencing PTSD and other trauma-related concerns in a variety of settings, including my work supporting military populations. When appropriate, I utilize evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients process traumatic experiences, reduce distressing symptoms, and move toward healing and recovery.
Absolutely. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals from many different cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, including Hispanic/Latino, African American, Caucasian, and Native American communities. I believe effective therapy begins with understanding each person's unique experiences, values, and identity. My goal is to provide respectful, culturally responsive care where every client feels heard, understood, and supported throughout the therapeutic process.
Yes. I provide all therapy sessions through secure telehealth appointments. Virtual therapy offers a convenient way to access professional mental health care without the need to travel, making it easier to fit therapy into your daily schedule. Whether you're seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, or other concerns, telehealth allows us to work together from the comfort and privacy of your own home while maintaining the same high standard of care.
