Frequently asked

I provide individual therapy for adolescents, young adults, and adults facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, executive functioning difficulties, relationship and family concerns, academic stress, and major life transitions. Whether you're struggling with school, work, relationships, or adjusting to significant changes, I work collaboratively with you to develop practical strategies that support lasting emotional well-being and personal growth.
Executive functioning skills—including organization, time management, planning, and task completion—can affect success at school, work, and home. In therapy, we identify the specific challenges you're experiencing and develop realistic strategies to improve focus, productivity, and daily functioning. I also help clients manage the emotional impact of ADHD, such as frustration, low self-confidence, and feeling overwhelmed, while building skills that support long-term success.
I believe therapy should be collaborative, goal-oriented, and grounded in evidence-based care. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and other research-supported approaches to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we'll create an individualized treatment plan that reflects your goals, tracks your progress, and equips you with practical tools to navigate life's challenges more confidently.
When working with adolescents, I believe collaboration with parents or caregivers can be an important part of the therapeutic process. When appropriate and with respect for confidentiality, I partner with families to support treatment goals, improve communication, and reinforce progress outside of sessions. My goal is to help both adolescents and their families develop the skills needed to foster healthy relationships and long-term success.
Your first appointment is an opportunity for us to discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your personal history, and identify the goals you'd like to achieve. We'll talk about the challenges you're facing, answer any questions you have about the therapy process, and begin developing a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative environment where you feel comfortable working toward meaningful and lasting change.
