About

– taking the first step of looking for help is always brave. I am a child and adult psychiatrist, board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both Adult and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. I completed my general psychiatry residency and my child psychiatry fellowship programs in 2015. Since then, I have been practicing for 9 years, working as a staff psychiatrist at Sheppard Pratt RTC and then at Carroll Counseling Center. I am especially passionate about providing care to children, adolescents, and young adults struggling with mood disorders, psychotic disorders, behavioral issues, ADHD, and more.

I have a patient/family-centered, holistic approach to treatment. I always strive to work with my patients to find the right balance of medication, therapy, social support, and healthy lifestyle to meet each client’s treatment goals. I believe that my patients deserve personalized care where the focus is on treating the person rather than the diagnosis.

Dr. Frank is based out of our Stevenson office.

Frequently asked

I provide psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns. My clinical interests include ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, mood disorders, behavioral concerns, psychotic disorders, and other emotional and behavioral challenges. Every patient has unique needs, so I take the time to understand your symptoms, history, and goals before developing a personalized treatment plan.
Your first appointment is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation where we'll discuss your current concerns, medical and mental health history, previous treatments, medications, family history, and treatment goals. I'll also answer any questions you have about your diagnosis or treatment options. Together, we'll create a plan that may include medication, therapy recommendations, lifestyle changes, or other supportive interventions based on your individual needs.
As a board-certified psychiatrist, I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and prescribe medication when it is clinically appropriate. Medication is only one part of treatment, and I believe it works best when combined with a broader understanding of each person's emotional, psychological, and social needs. My goal is to help you find the most effective treatment plan while carefully monitoring your progress and making adjustments as needed.
I believe successful treatment begins with partnering with both the child and their family. My approach is patient- and family-centered, focusing on understanding the whole person rather than simply treating a diagnosis. When appropriate, I collaborate with parents, caregivers, therapists, schools, and other healthcare providers to create a treatment plan that supports a child's emotional, behavioral, academic, and developmental success.
Medication decisions are always made collaboratively and are based on your symptoms, diagnosis, medical history, and personal treatment goals. In many cases, the most effective treatment includes a combination of medication, psychotherapy, healthy lifestyle habits, and strong social support. My goal is to help you find the right balance of treatments while ensuring you feel informed, comfortable, and actively involved in every step of your care.
