About

My therapeutic style is validating, welcoming, and rooted in the belief that therapy is a powerful space for self discovery and growth. I view the therapeutic relationship as central to the healing process. I offer a compassionate space where clients can slow down, connect with their emotional world, and thoughtfully explore patterns and experiences that shape their lives.

My approach is integrative and responsive to what you need in each session. I often use techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help with coping and managing distress, but I also believe in the importance of going deeper- working together to understand how your past and internal patterns may be influencing how you experience the world today.

Beginning therapy is a brave and meaningful choice, and I look forward to supporting you in your journey towards healing and self-understanding.

Claire works out of our Reston office and also offers telehealth sessions.

Frequently asked

I work with adolescents and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, and other emotional difficulties. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck in recurring patterns, or simply looking to better understand yourself, I provide a supportive space where we can work together toward healing and personal growth.
My approach is integrative, meaning I tailor each session to your unique needs and goals. I often incorporate evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help build practical coping skills, while also exploring the deeper patterns, experiences, and relationships that influence how you think, feel, and interact with the world today.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your current concerns, and identify the goals you'd like to work toward. My goal is to create a welcoming, validating environment where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace without fear of judgment.
I believe that healing happens through connection. A strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, compassion, and collaboration creates the foundation for meaningful self-discovery and lasting change. My role is to provide a safe space where you feel heard, understood, and supported as we work together to better understand your experiences and move toward the life you want.
