About

I completed a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Regent University and have been in practice for 6 years. I believe in a collaborative and person-centered approach to therapy. I specialize in depression, anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship issues, family problems, and more. I am a trauma-informed therapist and have worked with many different people from many different backgrounds.

I work with children, couples, families, and adults, and have experience working with and treating a variety of mental health issues and diagnoses. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, as well as strength-based and solution-focused approaches. My therapeutic style is collaborative and person-centered. I strongly believe in developing a collaborative approach to therapy so that my clients feel like they are a part of the therapy process.

My goal is to help my clients work toward the place they want to be while honoring their unique values, personalities, and worldviews. I help my clients resolve issues and achieve their goals by using therapeutic approaches that best fit their needs and situations.

Chelsea conducts her sessions via telehealth.

Frequently asked

I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families who are experiencing a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship challenges, family conflict, and life transitions. I enjoy helping clients from diverse backgrounds navigate life's difficulties while building on their strengths and working toward meaningful personal growth.
I take a collaborative, person-centered approach to therapy because I believe you are the expert on your own life. Together, we'll identify your goals and develop a treatment plan that reflects your unique values, personality, and experiences. I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Strengths-Based Therapy to help you build practical skills and create lasting positive change.
Being trauma-informed means I recognize how past experiences can affect your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and overall well-being. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where you feel respected and empowered throughout the counseling process. Therapy moves at a pace that's comfortable for you, and together we'll focus on healing while building effective coping strategies for the future.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and discuss what has brought you to therapy. We'll explore your current concerns, identify your goals, and begin creating a plan that's tailored to your needs. I strive to make the first session feel comfortable, collaborative, and free of judgment so you can feel confident moving forward in the therapeutic process.
