The program is dedicated to increasing knowledge, awareness, and access to assistive technology (AT) devices and services for Georgians of all ages and disabilities. Tools for Life provides activities, programs, and services that help older adults and people with disabilities learn about, use, and acquire the assistive technology that best meets their unique needs. The program offers AT Labs that showcase a range of assistive technology, from basic products to advanced systems, including tools to assist with daily living, vision, hearing, and communication. Assistive technology helps people with disabilities and older adults fully engage in the activities of daily life, and Tools for Life provides access to AT Device Demonstrations and Loans, as well as educational opportunities and trainings on a regular basis. The program is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities and strives to create a culture of full access and inclusion that benefits everyone.
