Dr. Madsen is licensed in Pennsylvania and is also a member of The Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT), an interstate compact designed to facilitate the practice of telepsychology and temporary in-person, face-to-face practice of psychology across state boundaries. She is best described as warm, structured, goal-oriented, and genuine, and strives to provide accurate diagnoses and treatment plans to help clients achieve clinical goals. Dr. Madsen is most comfortable working with individuals ages sixteen and older, and offers concierge medicine services, which include personalized, comprehensive, and often more convenient medical care from a dedicated doctor. She is typically available by phone or email outside of regular office hours, and has working relationships with private clinicians who are able to provide efficient and quality medication management, metabolic and genomic testing and evaluation.
Insurance & payment
Dr. Madsen is considered an “out-of-network provider.” Patients can submit her bill to their insurance company for reimbursement of a portion of the fee, but out-of-network reimbursements vary greatly depending on the particular carrier and/or policy.
