They exist to improve the lives of individuals and families affected by Autism in the Western New York area. The organization promotes individual, parental, and guardian choice to assure that people with Autism are treated with dignity and respect. They provide information and support through their website, information and referral services, informational meetings, and two half-day virtual workshops a year. The Autism Society Western New York is a non-profit 501(c)3 charity incorporated in New York State and is a mostly volunteer organization and an affiliate of the national Autism Society.
