Established in 1967, WCMHS has been serving the Washington County community and the adjacent towns of Orange, Washington, and Williamstown for over 50 years. The agency provides both office- and community-based services, including prevention and wellness, assessment and stabilization, and 24/7 emergency response. WCMHS is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit community mental health center that takes a flexible approach to person-centered care, ensuring acceptance and participation in their programs without regard to race, color, national origin, or religion. With a dedicated staff working to assist each individual in reaching their goals, WCMHS serves over 6,700 individuals yearly, many of whom participate in multiple programs across the agency's divisions.
