Washington County Mental Health Services (WCMHS) is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit community mental health center designated by Vermont Statute to provide support and treatment opportunities for children, adolescents, families, and adults living with mental illness, emotional and behavioral issues, substance use disorder, and intellectual/developmental disabilities. With over 50 years of experience, WCMHS offers a wide range of services, including prevention and wellness, assessment and stabilization, and 24-hour emergency response. Their dedicated staff works to assist each individual to reach their goals, and they take a flexible approach to person-centered care for residents within Washington County and the adjacent towns of Orange, Washington, and Williamstown. WCMHS serves over 6,700 individuals yearly, providing collaborative direct services and community-based support.
