Founded in 1975, The Foundation Learning Center is a nonpublic special education day school that provides an opportunity for students with emotional disabilities and autism to reach their full potential. Serving 300 students in grades K-12 in the Washington metropolitan area, we are approved by the Maryland State Department of Education and the District of Columbia’s Office of the State Superintendent of Education, as well as a 501(c)(3) organization. Our goal is to inspire, uplift, and motivate our students to strive for a bright future and believe they can achieve their dreams.
