Potomac Horse Center (PHC) is a therapeutic riding program offering riding lessons to children and adults with physical or cognitive challenges. Our experienced instructor Nancy Heller, a Certified Therapeutic Instructor registered with the North Atlantic Riding for the Handicapped Association, leads our program with the help of many trained volunteers. Our program is designed to impart riding skills and establish weekly objectives and long-term goals tailored to each individual. Our horses are carefully selected and trained to meet the needs of our riders, providing a calm and well-behaved experience with a generous spirit and therapeutic input.
