Suncoast Center, Inc.

has been serving the residents of Pinellas County since 1944, remaining steadfast in its mission to strengthen, protect, and restore lives for a healthy community. The practice provides a full spectrum of services designed to meet the needs of individuals across all ages and address the entire range of behavioral health challenges. Their services span the entire continuum of care, from early intervention and prevention programs for young children to specialized treatment for adults facing severe and persistent mental health conditions. They offer individual and group therapy, medication management, crisis intervention, and substance use treatment, all deeply rooted in trauma-informed practices that prioritize the dignity, safety, and well-being of every client. Suncoast Center is Pinellas County's Sexual Assault Services Center, certified through the Florida Council Against Sexual Violence, and has been awarded a Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration CCBHC grant and has their attestation accepted by SAMHSA. They are accredited through the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) International and licensed to provide outpatient Substance Abuse services through the Department of Children and Families. Suncoast Center values collaborations and serves as a leader in collaboration for behavioral health services, convening monthly meetings with 60 attendees to inform on existing services and partnerships, and to identify and address areas for improvement and improved collaboration.
