Special Olympics Missouri is a Jefferson City-based organization dedicated to providing year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Our mission is to give our athletes continued opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community. As a leader in the Special Olympics movement, we strive to create a world where people with intellectual disabilities are accepted and included.
