First Steps Early Intervention Program is the Missouri-based system for infants and toddlers, birth to age three, with delayed development or conditions associated with developmental disabilities. We are dedicated to providing families the tools they need to help their child succeed. Our program is governed by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Part C and is administered by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
