Special Olympics Michigan- Area 5 provides year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. We aim to help our athletes develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, and experience joy through the sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, fellow athletes, and the community. With the support of generous volunteers, coaches, family members, and staff, our athletes are able to pursue their dreams. We are proud to be supported by donations from Michigan citizens and businesses, which provide essential funding for our program.
