Founded in 1969 as the first therapeutic riding center built especially for the purpose of serving those with disabilities in North America, the center enhances the lives of individuals with disabilities through equine-assisted services while leading the industry in education. Cheff's clients range in age from 13 months to over 80 years old, and the center serves individuals with physical, behavioral, emotional, and cognitive disabilities. The center offers various programs, including Therapeutic Riding, Hippotherapy, Ground Programming, Instructor Training and Mentoring, and Industry Education. Cheff's unique approach allows for an experience that cannot be replicated in any traditional clinic or hospital setting, thanks to the synergy created by their herd of gentle giants, professional staff, and specially trained volunteers.
