Founded in 1980 by a group of psychologists who studied, taught, and trained together at The Ohio State University, their practice began with a shared belief that life is an unfolding process. This belief continues to guide their work today. They understand that every journey includes periods of challenge where support, insight, and compassion matter most. For over 40 years, Processus Counseling has provided a relationship of trust between clients and skilled, compassionate therapist-guides. They view therapy as a collaborative process that helps people move through difficulty with greater freedom, integrity, and self-understanding. They remain deeply committed to serving their community with care rooted in respect, experience, and authenticity. Processus Counseling offers counseling services for adults, adolescents, and children, and is a preferred provider for most health plans, including BCBS, HealthPartners, Medica, and others. Their licensed counselors provide caring guidance for mental health, using a range of evidence-based and relational approaches tailored to each client’s needs.
