Pennsylvania Partners in Policymaking, also known as Competence and Confidence: Partners in Policymaking, is a program that works alongside individuals with disabilities and their families to promote self-determined lives. They are one of sixty-seven University Centers for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service, and are home to TechOWL, Pennsylvania's Assistive Technology Act program. The Institute on Disabilities at Temple University provides various services and programs, including the C2P2 program, which focuses on parent training, and the TechOWL program, which offers assistive technology services. They also provide supports brokering, advocacy, and community integration and supports. The Institute on Disabilities is located in Philadelphia, PA, and serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Pennsylvania.
