Parent to Parent of New York State (Parent to Parent of NYS) is a Staten Island-based organization dedicated to building a supportive network of families to reduce isolation and empower those who care for people with developmental disabilities or special healthcare needs. Our mission is to help families navigate and influence service systems and make informed decisions. Through our network of family-centered resources, we provide support, information, and guidance to caregivers, so they can make the best decisions for their family. We work to create an environment of acceptance and understanding, enabling families to access the resources they need to succeed. We strive to be a trusted source of information and support for families navigating the complexities of special healthcare needs.
