For more than 100 years, HeartShare Human Services of New York | Staten Island has been providing services and supports to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum. Our programs are tailored to meet the needs of the community – 1 in 68 children in the US is currently diagnosed with autism. We offer specialized services such as special education pre-school classes, a school for children ages 5-21, adult day programs, group homes, overnight respite services, recreation programs, and community habilitation services. Our mission is to provide quality care and support to those in need, allowing them to reach their fullest potential and live happy, independent lives.
