She works with a variety of media, including pen and ink, sculpture, ceramics, installation, fibers, and bookmaking. Her current body of work focuses on the environment, the feminine connection of woman to nature, the female body, fat issues, female sexuality, women's health, and the politics of culture and empowered voice. Nancy is a practicing artist and therapist who is passionate about using the creative process as a tool for healing and self-discovery. She holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a Specialization in Art Therapy from Lesley University, a Master of Fine Arts in Interdisciplinary Arts from Goddard College, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Kendall College of Art and Design. Nancy's work is a reflection of her own experiences and passions, and she is constantly amazed and inspired by the power of the creative process.
