With a therapeutic orientation mostly Rogerian, Misty implements solution-focused strategies and techniques associated with Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral therapy to address mood disorders, behavior problems, and thinking distortions. She specializes in areas that may impact one within the educational and/or home environment, including difficulties associated with Trauma experiences or unresolved grief. With over 15 years of experience working with children and adolescents, Misty is a certified School Psychologist through the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.
