Mary's evaluation services focus on helping families and schools better understand a child's strengths and needs, have compassion for why they do what they do, and identify the types of supports that are needed to maximize their personal, academic, and social effectiveness. She takes a comprehensive ecological approach to working with students, ensuring that her clients fully understand the implications of brain-behavior relationships and have a clear plan to address any needs that are identified. With over 20 years of experience in coaching parents on managing behavior in a realistic way, Mary is committed to providing practical, tangible, and useful strategies to support her clients. She has a Ph.D. in Learning and Mind Sciences from UC Davis and a master's degree in School Psychology and Special Education from CSUS. Mary's experience spans various settings, including private practice, teaching, parent training, social work, behavior analysis, school psychology, counseling, and adjunct faculty at CSUS.
