She specializes in working with individuals, couples, and families to address a range of issues, including relationship dynamics, family therapy, anxiety, depression, postpartum support, and grief. Lea's practice has a particular focus on women's mental health in the prenatal and postpartum periods, as well as relationship and couples issues. She also works with new fathers adjusting to parenthood and international/expat families. Lea is available to see patients in person or through telehealth, and is bilingual, offering sessions in both French and English. Her office is conveniently located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, and she also holds a license to practice teletherapy with residents of Vermont. Lea's therapeutic approach is psychodynamic, emotion-focused, with cognitive-behavioral elements, and she tailors her therapy to each individual's unique needs. She is certified as a Perinatal Mental Health specialist (PMH-C) and has advanced training in Prolonged Grief Therapy and Perinatal Grief & Loss. Lea is a member of the Women's Mental Health Consortium and the Society for Mother Studies, and her writings on motherhood, loss, and psychotherapy have been published in the Journal of the Motherhood Initiative.
