About
Connected Growth & Wellbeing was founded by Lauren Tobing-Puente, PhD to support individuals' development, including clients as young as toddlers through adulthood, and their families. The practice specializes in the assessment and treatment of neurodivergent individuals, including autism (ASD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), as well as children with social-emotional challenges and/or global developmental delays. They work closely with families, school personnel, and other treatment providers to promote social-emotional development by addressing underlying challenges. The practice uses the DIR (Developmental Individual Differences Relationship-based) philosophy and related Floortime strategies to consider the whole child and their relationships in a strengths-based, respectful manner. They offer a range of services, including diagnostic evaluations, parent support, and social skills training, in two New York offices located in Union Square, Manhattan and Bayside, Queens. They also provide telehealth services, including video and telephone sessions, using a HIPAA-compliant video platform.
