Kathleen Broderick Woody is a co-founder of AIM and has been providing intensive, in-home therapy for children with autism since 1999. She holds an undergraduate degree from Marquette University and a doctorate from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Broderick Woody has trained and functioned as a staff psychologist at an NIMH replication site of Dr. Ivar Lovaas’ research, was on the pediatric medical staff at the Milwaukee County Mental Health Complex, and has presented in the media and at conferences on autism-related topics. Her clinical training includes appointments to University of Chicago’s Hyperactivity and Learning Problems Clinic and the Milwaukee County Mental Health Complex.
