Founded by Jocelyn M Figureid in 2023, after 18 years working in various treatment settings, the practice focuses on trauma and EMDR. Lantern Counseling LLC is committed to supporting individuals in building a life free of interference from old wounds. With HIPAA-compliant telehealth tools, it's easy to access EMDR and other psychotherapy interventions from anywhere in Alaska. The practice offers a range of EMDR interventions, including standard protocol, early EMDR interventions, DeTUR and Urge to Avoid protocols, and IFS-informed EMDR. Jocelyn M Figureid is an EMDR Certified Therapist and Consultant-in-Training through EMDRIA, providing consultation services. Lantern Counseling LLC is not accepting new clients at this time, but they offer Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) remote delivery to reduce stress and auditory sensitivity.
Insurance & payment
Lantern Counseling LLC accepts Aetna, Blue Cross, and Premera Blue Cross. However, they are not contracted with Tricare and are unable to bill Medicaid or Medicare.
