About
She is based in Cary, NC, and serves the NC Triad and all of North Carolina. Jessie has over six years of experience supporting individuals and families in both school and clinical settings. She holds a Master’s in School Counseling and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from UNC Chapel Hill. Jessie is passionate about advocating for safe, equitable, and LGBTQIA+-inclusive spaces across education and healthcare systems. She brings a deeply affirming, inclusive, and collaborative energy to her work with clients. Jessie specializes in working with adolescent or adult neurodiverse or neurocurious folks exploring their identities across gender and sexuality spectrums, including the asexuality spectrum. She also supports clients navigating anxiety, recovery from 'people pleasing' and perfectionism, emotional dysregulation, burnout, relationship tension, or the weight of simply existing in an ableist, capitalist world. Jessie's therapy room is a space where awkwardness is welcome, and perfection isn’t expected. She believes therapy can be real, collaborative, and sometimes even a little messy. Jessie draws from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Reality Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
