The Illinois Iowa Center for Independent Living (IICIL) is dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities, providing them with the resources and services they need to lead independent and fulfilling lives. Our comprehensive offerings include mandated consumer-directed services such as information and referral, advocacy, independent living skills training, and peer support. Additionally, we offer a fully accessible computer lab, state-of-the-art information and referral library, TTY/amplified phone acquisition, devices for those who have low vision or are blind, Braille and transcription, sign language, technical assistance on disability laws and policy, Disability Awareness Training, accessibility audits, and a host of volunteer opportunities. We strive to ensure that all individuals with disabilities have the opportunity to live, work and participate fully in their communities.
