They specialize in pediatric therapy, providing a unique approach to promote the physical and mental development of individuals with disabilities through equine activities. Their mission is to offer therapeutic riding, a combination of riding lessons, relaxation, and play time, which has shown outstanding improvement in children exposed to it. They have worked with children diagnosed with various conditions, including ADD, ADHD, MS, CIDP, CEREBRAL PALSY, AUTISM, SPINA BIFIDA, HEARING IMPAIRMENT, and RETT SYNDROME. Healing Winds has been featured on 'Pax TV's Miracle Pets', 'Animal Planet', and 'Amazing Animals'. They are seeking sponsors and gratefully accepting donations to help keep costs down for their facility upkeep, grain, alfalfa, grass hay, and safety equipment. The center is owned by Nancy Elder, a Certified Instructor and Reiki Practitioner.
