The practice exists to partner with families and churches in the pivotal work of faith formation, offering a variety of experiences designed to facilitate growth and renewal for campers and groups. Their overnight summer programs have helped campers grow spiritually, socially, and individually, while their day camps bring the Glisson experience to local churches across the state of Georgia. Glisson also offers the Experiential Leadership Institute, a multi-week immersive leadership development experience for rising 11th-12th graders. With nearly 400 acres of mountain forest, trails, ponds, a clearwater creek, and Cane Creek Falls, Glisson provides a unique and transformative environment for campers and groups to grow and develop.
