The Georgia Department of Public Health’s East Central Health District and Lincoln County Health Department’s Children 1st program is dedicated to identifying children from birth to age 5 who are at risk for poor health and/or developmental outcomes. We provide families with resources to ensure that their child’s health and development is supported. We work with a variety of public, private, and community resources to provide no-cost, in-home visits that arrange help for families’ needs. Our services are voluntary and parents can choose to withdraw at any time. We strive to ensure all Georgia’s children stay in the best possible health.
