The Early Intervention Section (EIS) of the Hawaii Department of Health is a state and federally mandated program that provides services and support to infants and toddlers aged 0-3. We not only provide services to help with their development, but also offer resources and information to parents to help them grow and develop their knowledge of raising their child. Our program is based on Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), and we strive to ensure that all of the requirements and regulations of this Act are met. Our mission is to provide quality services to families and children in Hawaii, allowing them the opportunity to reach their full potential.
