At Hawaii Disability Rights Center, our mission is to protect and promote the human, civil, and legal rights of individuals with disabilities. We are Hawaii’s designated Protection and Advocacy (PA) System and Client Assistance Program (CAP) for applicants and clients of programs funded under the federal Rehabilitation Act. We strive to uphold the constitutions and laws of both the State of Hawaii and the United States through our commitment to information, outreach, education, and advocacy. Our aim is to ensure that individuals with disabilities are given the opportunity to exercise their rights and live their lives with respect and dignity.
