Dr. Ernesto Tiznado-Garcia, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatric neurologist serving Southern California, with locations in Chula Vista, Oceanside, Riverside, Imperial, and San Diego. He is highly trained to treat disorders of the nervous system in children, including diseases of the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles. Dr. Tiznado-Garcia diagnoses and treats common pediatric problems such as epilepsy (seizures), headaches, learning disorders, cerebral palsy, sleep disorders, and various forms of pain. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with special qualification in pediatric neurology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). Dr. Tiznado-Garcia has extensive experience in pediatric neurology, having served as the director of pediatric neurology at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego and as an assistant clinical professor of neurosciences and pediatrics at the University of California at San Diego Medical Center. He is currently Director of Pediatric Neurology at the Children's Outpatient Clinic in El Centro Regional Medical Center.
