Disability Rights and Resource Center

The Disability Rights and Resource Center is a private, non-profit, community agency that provides non-residential programs in the counties of Franklin, Henry, Patrick, and Pittsylvania, as well as the independent cities of Martinsville and Danville. They were established on September 16, 2013, and are governed by a Board of Directors with a majority of members having disabilities. The center's mission is to help individuals with disabilities achieve and maintain a life of independence. They offer various services, including peer counseling, resources, and support, with a team of qualified and experienced staff and partners providing accessible and customer-driven services.
