Dr. David Blende DDS of David M Blende DDS has over 30 years of experience providing comprehensive dental care in both hospitals and private practices in Switzerland, Beverly Hills, and San Francisco. He is well-known for his aesthetic dentistry and his dedication to special needs patients. Dr. Blende has served as the Chairman of the California Dental Association’s Council on Scientific Affairs and Research and the President of the French Foundation for Medical Research and Education. As an early member of the Special Care Dentistry Association (SCDA), he pioneered full-mouth rehabilitation using general anesthesia in a hospital setting, and as one of the few dentists who service homebound patients, he performs house calls. He is currently the chief of the Dental Division at two major San Francisco hospitals, and is on staff at six additional Bay Area hospitals.
